The other day was just browing through the news channels..something cuaght my eye..the news reporter saying frm 2nd october there will be a ban on smoking on public places..i just chnaged da channel thought itz just the another news stroy to catch peoples eye cuz it aint gonna last long or did eva thingsl iek this last long..Goverment makes rules and they r da one to break it so whats da use of making rules of this sort and imposing on ppl to follow them when frm da inside things r just hollow..smoking in public places include everythn rt frm gardens.on da streets,in da cab or rickshaw,any bar restruants,near bus stops..Damn!!!for how long r this things gonan stay??will ppl realli follow them?i dont think so..u jst cant slow down smoking habits of ppl who realli need them on daily basis..u cant cut them down i na blink of an eye or give ppl da fear of paying up fines cuz of it..if the goverment is smart in making such rules then da ppl aint exception who break them..itz thier personal life they know whta they do what r da effects os smoking if they dont care y ru so bothered??iz it a easy money u all will get by collecting fines and keeping them to ur selves..Ppl know hwtas good for them and whats not so let them decide for themselves..u neva cared abt ppl i nda bomb blast and other crisis..y do u pretend like if u care?y do u need appreciation for no god damn!reason..if u can ban on smoking y not drinking??I aint favouring this whole situation just found this bann on msoking kinda absurd...cuz whileo n my way to college and returning back home copuld see ppl smoking on da strrets near pan bidi shop..As if they dont know naythn abt it..If u realli want to chnage things around and wanna make it good...1st change ur self..would liek ot haf ur comments on it Thnx God Bless :)...Friday, October 3, 2008

I agree to the point that its a pesonal choice to smoke but i m very happy with the ban..
u say that y isnt government doing nythng fr bomb and all and focusing on smoking ban which according to you won't last..
yes may b the ban is illogical evn i saw ppl smoking bt no one took any step.. but isn't it that the government is atleast trying to take effort to do something gud.. smoking is injurious to health but still ppl do smoke risking their lives.. if they don't want to take care of themselves thats fine but ppl around the smokers also get affected by the smoke wat abt them..?
U go near ruia in the aftrnoon u ll see school smoking now for all those "cool dudes" isn't this rule effective..
cummon wen government does something u criticise and wen it doesn't do anything ppl crib abt it..

The other day i along with my friend also thought that since we hate smoking we should have some ID by wich we can catch hold ppl and fine them..
India needs such rule but people should abide by it..
instead of thinkin whether it'll work or no i think u shud do wat u can do. if everyone thinks da same way, its not going to work. but if each person thinks that if he/she changes others will change, it might help!
